I started playing Piano when I was four years old. I never made a conscious decision to become a musician; it just came naturally to me. Billy Joel, Genesis, Bruce Hornsby, The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Phish, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Smith, and The Allman Brothers have held places in my development.
I graduated from the Berklee College of Music, where I honed my skills at composition and songwriting as well as performance.

I am currently playing with
The Len & Pete Show, Silverton,
Sweetwater Junction, Gimme Springsteen Tribute
and continue to give in-home Piano instruction.
I have toured, performed and recorded with many southern regional bands, including Insonnia, featuring Curtis Jones and Mark Letalien, Bonobos Convergence, featuring Vaylor Trucks and Frank Registrato, Tinsley Ellis, Blueground Undergrass led by the Rev. Jeff Mosier, Len Rosen, Lefty Williams, Kynda, Sonar, Toni Brown, the Legendary J.C.’s, Bluesberry Jam, Wellville, Greg Eyma, Universal Studios Brass Band, Squeezeable Hugo, Bonobos Jazz Ensemble, Umoja, David Gans, and Tom Constanten of the Grateful Dead.
I have been teaching and playing Piano for the past 20 years and some of my students have performed on David Letterman, performed the National Anthem at major league ball games and have gone on to become music directors at churches throughout the Southeast.
To say I wrote the book on Rock Piano is, in this case, true. In fact, you can get the book "Rock Solid: Keyboard" published by Carl Fischer at your local music store or online at Amazon.com
